Saint Patrick's Day
March 17th is Saint Patrick's Day, when the death of St. Patrick, or St. Patrick, who is the patron saint of Ireland is commemorated. In the United States Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated in style because many Americans are of Irish origin. Today it is celebrated by almost anyone, whether or not Irish ancestry.
